CALL FOR POSTER SESSIONS
Join us for the 10th Annual DAAC Conference at the Gaithersburg Marriott
Washingtonian Center in Gaithersburg, MD. The conference sessions include
keynote, discussants, and sessions as well as poster presentations.

Proposals for Poster Sessions [Deadline: December 10, 2008]

Proposals should address clinical practice, research, higher education, consumer and family
issues, or other pertinent information concerning AAC. Poster sessions need not focus on
language issues even though such submissions are particularly encouraged. A rolling review of
proposals will allow early notifications of acceptance (within 3 weeks of submission).

Submissions should include:
   x Title and Author(s) including their affiliations;
   x Name, Address, Phone, Fax, and E-Mail for primary author;
   x Abstract of 50 words or less
   x Poster description of 450 words or less
   x Brief author biography (for ASHA Continuing Education Unit purposes)
   x Three learning objectives (Must be observable and measurable, such as identify, list,
     discuss, demonstrate, create, etc. for CEU purposes)
   x Disclosure of any financial interest in the content of the Poster being proposed
   x Indication that at least one author will register for and attend the entire Conference

The Review Team will use the following criteria to select proposals: a) quality, b) relevance to the
conference, c) completeness of the proposal, and d) program balance.

x   At least one presenter must register for and attend the Conference.
x   Presenters must provide their own Self-Standing Table Top Poster Display, not to exceed four
    feet in width. Electricity will not be available for poster displays.
