                                        DEPARTMENT OF INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS

POSITION: Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball. 10-month or seasonal appointment in the Department of Intercollegiate
Athletics.

STARTING DATE: September 22, 2008 (negotiable)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. Demonstrated successful coaching
experience at the collegiate, high school or club levels. Commitment to the academic and athletic success of the student-athlete. Must
have a strong commitment to the welfare of student-athletes and a reputation of integrity, both professionally and in compliance
matters. Proficiency in oral, written communication, and administrative abilities necessary. Demonstrated ability and/or interest in
working in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural environment.

DUTIES: Serve as Assistant Coach, Cal Poly Pomona Women's Basketball. The University is a member of the California Collegiate
Athletic Association (CCAA). Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: coordinate recruiting and team travel, assist with
practices and competitions, scouting, ordering equipment, monitoring the strength and conditioning program, academic oversight, and
fundraising. The Assistant Coach is responsible for following and enforcing department, institutional, conference, and NCAA policies
and regulations. Reports to the Head Coach under the guidance of the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.

SALARY RANGE: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience and may include benefits.
