1998.01-06       Researcher for CaribCad, a project funded by the European Union, the
                 Technical University of Delft, and Georgia Tech to explore internet-based
                 outsourcing of tasks such as CAD drafting. I modeled work flow diagrams
                 using Java applets.

Skills

PHP/MySQL        I have four years' experience with dynamic sites using PHP4/MySQL for
                 custom search engines as well as heavily modifying existing CMSes.

HTML, CSS,       I have ten years' experience coding HTML by hand and WYSIWYG, and have an
JavaScript, Perl in-depth understanding of CSS and CSS classes. I am comfortable working at
                 the command line in various UNIX flavors, and am also quite familiar with web
                 design basics such as chmod and server-side security on Apache (htaccess as
                 well as modifications to server environment).

Macromedia       I use Photoshop, Fireworks, and Flash for schematic and final designs. I have
Studio MX        a good understanding of graphics optimization (GIF vs. JPG).                 I use
Professional 2004 timeline-based     Flash   and   object-oriented   ActionScript   about   equally,
                 Dreamweaver for all my development, and Dreamweaver templates for
                 smaller sites, but for larger sites I use PHP/MySQL. I have also used ColdFusion
                 and to a lesser extent ASP.
Adobe             Wide-ranging experience with Adobe, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and
Photoshop CS      Illustrator. For video post-production I use Premiere Pro, but I also have had
Illustrator 10    some exposure to Combustion and After Effects. I have used GoLive and
InDesign 2        ImageReady, though I prefer Dreamweaver and Fireworks.

RSS/XML/other Have programmed custom RSS-compliant XML for CMSes (PHP-Nuke).

CAD/CAM           3D modelling and animation with Maya, 3dStudio Max, and AutoCAD.
