GENERAL INFORMATION
The 2008 Annual Meeting will be held on October 16-18, 2008 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. Registration will open at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 16th and the
meeting will conclude on Saturday, October 18th at 12:00 pm. Please arrange your travel
accordingly.

There are 3 ways to make hotel reservations:

1) Reserve online by clicking here.

2) Go to www.Fairmont.com/scottsdale and enter in GRAAC1 in the promo field.

3) Call 800-344-4758 and reference the AAHC or Association of Academic Health Centers
Annual Meeting.

The hotel reservation cut-off date is Friday, September 12, 2008. We recommend making
your reservations for accommodations early to guarantee your room at the discounted AAHC rate.
of $259 single/double (excluding tax).

Checking In and Out:
Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 pm. Should you arrive early the hotel will
make every attempt to accommodate you. However, if a room is not available at that time the
hotel will store your luggage until your room is available.

Hotel Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations of hotel reservations must be made 30 days prior of the arrival date or the
AAHC rate will apply. Contact the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess directly with hotel reservation
cancellations at 800-344-4758.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is serviced by the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is located about 8 miles from the Fairmont
Scottsdale Princess. The hotel concierge can arrange car service to and from the airport with
Transtyle Car Service at a cost of $55 one-way. Contact the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Hotel
concierge at (480) 585-4848, or contact Transtyle Car Service directly at (800) 410-5479.

SuperShuttle door-to-door service is also available at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International
Airport. Shuttles operate on a shared ride-on demand basis. SuperShuttle operates 24 hours per
day on a regularly scheduled basis. Vans depart every 15 minutes to all areas from 9 am to 9 pm.
After 9 pm, the frequency lessens; for more information, call 1-800-BLUEVAN or go to
www.supershuttle.com.

Registration Fee:

          o   Early-Bird fee, $675 (received by Friday, August 15, 2008)

          o   Regular fee, $795 (received after Friday, August 15, 2008)

          o   Spouse fee, $180 (includes the reception and dinner on Thursday, October 16th,
              and lunch on Friday, October 17th)

     Registration should be received by AAHC no later than Friday, October 3, 2008.

A check for $675 and any additional fees (for spouses/guests) should be included with your
mailed registration form. If you have difficulty processing the payment by this date, please
forward the registration form to AAHC without the check and indicate that payment will follow
under separate cover.

REGISRATION CANCELLATION/SUBSTITUTION POLICY:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to afranks@aahcdc.org or via fax to
(202) 265-7514, no later than Friday, September 12, 2008. Registration fees, less a $75
administrative fee, will be refunded for any cancellations received by September 12, 2008.
Refunds cannot be made for cancellations after September 12, 2008. There is no charge for
substitutions, no-shows will not be refunded.
