Starting the Process
r "Part 1" of the application - Must be submitted before a file is established in your name
  Go to www.sstx.org/application to complete Part 1 online. Credit card payment of the application fee must accompany online
  submissions. Online submissions are received daily and allow us to start your application file immediately upon receipt. Paper
  forms of Part 1 will be accepted with payment of the application fee by check or money order.
r Application fee ($50 for U.S. residents - $100 for applicants who reside outside the U.S.).

Testing
All applicants are required to submit results from either the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) or Secondary School
Admission Test (SSAT). Testing dates are limited - visit the websites early to register.
r ISEE (www.iseetest.org or 1-800-446-0320). The ISEE is administered at locations in Austin, the state, and nationally.
      The ISEE code number for St. Stephen's is 440315.
r SSAT (www.ssat.org or 1-609-683-4440). Worldwide testing centers make it convenient for international students to take the SSAT.
      The SSAT code number for St. Stephen's is 6956.
r International students - In addition to ISEE or SSAT scores please submit SLEP or TOEFL scores to demonstrate English proficiency.

Recommendations & Report Cards
r Distribute English Teacher, Math Teacher and Personal Recommendation forms
r Send us copies of last year's final report card and the most recent report card for this school year

The Writing Part!
r Complete and send Parent Statement and attach an optional recent photo
r Complete and send Student Questionnaire and Student Essay

Interview & Class Visits
r Schedule an interview with an Admission Officer by calling 512-327-1213 ext. 299. The interview is part of the application
     and must be completed by the February 1st deadline for priority admission. You may also call to reserve a space for one of the
     class visit days. Due to limited availability in January, we encourage families to complete their interview and class visits before
     December 15, 2007.

               Applications are accepted on a year-round basis. However, students whose files are complete by February 1
                                 will be given priority in consideration for the places available each year.

    Priority Deadline to have completed admission application process. Priority Deadline to have completed financial aid application.

                                                               March 10
                                                    Notification of 1st round decisions.

                                                                April 1
                          Contracts and deposits are due for students admitted during the first round decisions.
