         Complete Your Online Financial Aid Application!
IMPORTANT DATES
February 1, 2008
Deadline for New applicants to complete PFS and submit signed copy of 2005 taxes to the Director
of Financial Aid.
March 10, 2008
New families meeting the February 1 deadline receive admission decisions and financial aid awards.
Contracts and deposits are due April 1, 2008.



Follow These Easy Steps
STEP 1 - Parent Financial Statement (PFS)
On or after November 20, log on to www.nais.org/financialaid/sss to complete the Parents
Financial Statement (PFS). Upon completion of the process, please mail a copy of the PFS to the
Director of Financial Aid.

STEP 2 - 2006 Tax Return
Submit a signed copy of your 2006 Federal Tax Returns with all schedules to Lawrence Sampleton,
Director of Financial Aid.

STEP 3 - 2007 Tax Return
Signed copies of your 2007 Tax Return and schedules should be submitted to Mr. Sampleton upon
completion or by April 15. Do not wait until you have completed your 2007 Tax Return to submit
the Parent Financial Statement or 2006 Tax Return. This will delay your priority. If you plan on
filing an extension for your 2007 Tax Return, please contact Mr. Sampleton before April 15.
SPECIAL ISSUES
Divorced and Single Parent Families
If you are a divorced or single parent, the custodial parent is required to file a Parents Financial
Statement with SSS in Princeton, New Jersey. The non-custodial parent is required to submit a PFS
to St. Stephens.
Business or Farm Owner - If you own a business or a farm, you will need to complete the Business/
Farm Statement and submit it to Mr. Sampleton. Download the form from the admission page on
the school website (www.sstx.org/admission) or call the Office of Admission to request a copy.

HELPFUL TIPS!
#1 - Communication is the key to this process.
#2 - Keep a complete set of copies of all forms submitted to School and Student Service for
Financial Aid and St. Stephens Episcopal School.
#3 - Call Mr. Sampleton at your earliest convenience if you have any questions or concerns about
the process. Waiting until the last minute may affect the amount of your award.
