The websites and information covered by this Privacy Policy:
This Privacy Policy currently applies to the following websites operated by Konami:

www.konami.com

In addition, Konami may own several other domain names that point to the website listed above. From
time to time, we may add new sites and will take reasonable steps to update the list.

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to information submitted and collected online through
the website(s) listed above, and does not apply to information that may be collected by Konami offline.
In addition, this Privacy Policy applies only to sites maintained by Konami and not to websites
maintained by other companies or organizations to which we link. Konami is therefore not responsible
for the content or activities provided on such sites.

What types of information does Konami collect and how will it be used?

In order to give you the best experience on our site, Konami may collect information about you, but only
if you voluntarily provide it to us. Typically, we may ask a user to submit personal and/or demographic
information, and it will usually take the form of either: (1) community registration; (2) product
registration; (3) email correspondence with product support/customer service; (4) polls or surveys;
and/or, (5) personal information submitted in a business capacity (e.g., resumes). The types of
information that may be requested for each activity and the way the information may be used are
detailed below.

§ Community Registration
To register on our site, we may ask you to provide personal information such as your email address. We
may also collect demographic information including your date of birth, username and password,
occupation and interests, and the city in which you live. The information that you submit during
registration will: (a) make up your profile; (b) allow you to use our message board, and participate in
other activities on our site (e.g., contests and sweepstakes, or game-specific events); and, (3) allow us to
send you, via email, news about products, features and enhancements, special offers, upgrade
opportunities, and contents and events of interest.

Please note that the information (e.g., email address, username, occupation, and interests) contained in
your profile (i.e., that you provide when registering) may be viewable to other users of Konami's
message board. We cannot and do not guarantee that this information will be kept confidential or private.
If you do not want the public to see this information, please leave the information blank at the time of
registration or choose to make your email address not shown.

§ Product Registration
To register a Konami product on our website, you will be required to submit your name, email address,
home address, and telephone number. You may also be asked to answer demographic questions relating
to your age, information about the product you purchased, the type of console you own, and the types of
games you enjoy playing. The information that you submit during product registration will entitle you to
limited warranty protection and technical support. Unless you opt out at the time of registration, we may
also use your registration information to send you, via email, news about products, features and
enhancements, special offers, upgrade opportunities, and contents and events of interest.

§ Email Correspondence
Konami may collect and temporarily store personal information that you voluntarily submit to us via
email when contacting Customer Service. For example, we provide on our site a link through which an
online visitor can send e-mail to customer service addressing any issue a user encounters with a Konami
product. Any personal information contained in such email is used by Konami for the sole purpose of
responding to your question. Although most e-mail messages are deleted immediately after they are
responded to, in certain cases, hard copies or data from certain e-mail correspondence may be kept on
file for security purposes. Any such copy or data will also be stored in a secure location, and information
from these messages will not be used for marketing purposes.

§ Polls/Surveys
From time to time, we may ask you for your opinion about our games or other products and services in
the form of polls or surveys. Your responses to these polls help us provide products and services of
interest to you. We do not request personal information such as your name in connection with these polls.
§ Resumes
Konami provides on its website an email address that visitors can use to send us their resumes. Personal
information collected from resumes will be used for the purpose of accepting and evaluating candidate
submissions for job postings and may therefore be shared within our company. Other than as explained
above, this Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information gathered through resumes.

Unless noted otherwise, we may also use your personal and demographic information for our internal
marketing and demographic studies, so we can constantly improve the products and services we provide
you and to better meet your needs.

From time to time, we are approached by third-party companies and organizations that provide products
or services that we believe may be of interest to you. To extend these products or services to you, we
may use your personal information to send out notices on their behalf. We strive to limit the notices and
communications to those that we think you would appreciate receiving.

No matter what method we use to collect information and no matter how we use that information, we
will only collect the information deemed reasonably necessary to fulfill your online requests and our
legitimate business objectives.

What happens if I refuse to provide my personal information to Konami?

If you choose not to submit personal information when requested, you may not be able to participate in
certain activities on our site and may considerably limit the services we can provide you. For example, if
you refuse to provide your email address when registering, you will not be able to use our message
boards. To simply use our site, however, you do not need to give us any personal information.

Does Konami use cookies, track IP addresses or use other passive means to collect information?

Cookies
Konami may use cookies to improve the use of our websites. A "cookie" is a small file or record-
keeping device that websites often store on a user's computer. Storage of cookies on your system
provides an easy and convenient method for us to personalize your experience on our websites. For
example, cookies allow us to remember your screen name, tell us that you have visited our website
before, and may contain information that will make your next visit to our website more enjoyable.
However, we do not use cookies to store personal information such as your name. In addition, Konami
will not use cookies to retrieve information from your computer that was not originally sent in a cookie.
You can always disable cookies or set your browser to alert you when cookies are being sent to your
computer.

Third Party Cookies
We currently contract with several online partners to help manage and optimize our Internet business
and communications. We use the services of a marketing company to help us measure the effectiveness
of our advertising and how visitors use our site. To do this, we use Web beacons and cookies provided
by our marketing company on this site. The type of information we collect includes The type of
information we may collect includes, but is not limited to, the following: the activity of the Site visitor's
browser when the visitor is viewing the Site; the site path of visitors; and the time visitors come to the
Site; and product codes and pricing information for merchandise that visitors purchase. By
supplementing our records, this information helps us learn things like what pages are most attractive to
our visitors, which of our products most interest our customers, and what kinds of offers our customers
like to see. Although our marketing company logs the information coming from our site on our behalf,
we control how that data may and may not be used. If you do not want to help us learn how to improve
our site, products, offers and marketing strategy, you can "opt-out" of our ability to analyze such data by
going to this link: http://www.omniture.com/optout

IP Addresses
Konami may also collect your IP address for safety and security purposes. An IP address is a number
that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer every time you log on to the Internet.

Log Files
The only other information collected passively by Konami is in the form of logs - files that record Web
site activity, including how many "hits" a particular Web page is getting (a.k.a. "click-through data").
For example, log file entries are generated every time a visitor clicks an image on our site. These entries
are generated anonymously, and enable Konami to assess overall site activity, track interest in particular
portions of our site, troubleshoot technical concerns, and identify the type of browser you are using. We
may also use the log file entries for our internal marketing and demographic studies, so we can
constantly improve the products and services we provide you. Log files are used internally only, and are
not associated with any particular user or with any personal information.

Entertainment, Inc., or one of its vendors on Konami's behalf, and is used in the manner specified above.

With whom does Konami share my personal information?
Konami may share your personal information with our parent, subsidiary, or affiliate companies for
purposes of internal marketing and demographic studies, which help us improve and tailor the products
and services we provide you.

From time to time, Konami may employ and share your personal information with entities who use it
solely to provide support for the internal operations of Konami's website(s) (e.g., message board
operation and product registration storage).

Your personal information may also be shared with third parties -- typically businesses involved in the
entertainment, food, clothing, media, or Internet industries -- so that they can either assist us in notifying
you about special promotions or co-sponsor a promotion being offered on our site. We require all such
third parties to agree to maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the personal information
they obtain from us. If you do not want us to share your information, please opt-out from such sharing at
the time the information is collected.

We may disclose personal information in the good faith belief that we are required to do so by law, or
that doing so is reasonably necessary to comply with legal processes; respond to any claims; or, to
protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Konami, our customers, or the public.

In addition, information about our customers 13 years old or older, including personal information, may
be disclosed as part of any merger, sale, transfer of company assets, acquisition, or bankruptcy.

What is Konami's policy regarding links to third party sites?
You should be aware that while you are on a website operated by Konami, you may be directed to other
sites (usually retailers such as Amazon) that are beyond our control and for which we are not responsible.
Because we cannot guarantee that the privacy policies of these websites meet our high standards and the
requirements of the ESRB Privacy Online Program, we recommend that you read the privacy policy of
the website to which you link before you submit any personal information.

Can I choose how my personal information is used?

What is Konami's online privacy policy regarding children under 13?

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Konami may collect and store personal information about children under 13 ("children" or "child") if it
submitted by way of our registration form and is submitted after we've obtained verifiable parental
consent. To determine who is younger than 13 years old and whether parental consent is required, we
ask all users who wish to register to submit their date of birth. Those users that indicate they are under
13 years of age, they are directed to our Parental Permission Form. If given verifiable permission from a
parent, Konami may collect and store the following types of personal information about a child under
13: email address, parent's or guardian's full name, parent's or guardian's email address, parent's or
guardian's telephone number. Konami may also collect demographic information about a child such as
the child's date of birth, location, homepage, and other preferences; and, combine such information with
the child's personal information. Konami will only collect this information if it is voluntarily submitted
to us by the child and provided with the parent's permission. We do not gather personal information
about a child through the use of passive collection mechanisms such as cookies. For more information
on how we use cookies and other information collection tools, please click here.

The information that a child provides on his/her registration form may be used to: (a) make up the
child's profile; (b) allow the child to use our message board, and participate in other activities on our site
(e.g., contests, or game-specific events); and, (3) allow us to send the child, via email, news about
products, features and enhancements, special offers, upgrade opportunities, and contents and events of
interest.

Please note that we are prohibited from conditioning a child's participation in an activity - like message
boards - on the child's disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary to
participate in the activity. In addition, parents have the ability to consent to the collection of the child's
information without consenting to the disclosure of that information to third parties. To read about the
steps Konami takes to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the children's personal
information, please click here.

In some instances, a child may be allowed to submit information to us online even without their parents'
prior permission. For example, Konami does not require verifiable parental consent if a child under 13
wishes to use the Product Support feature of our site. The information collected in these areas is used to
fulfill a one-time request from the child (e.g., answer the child's technical support question) and is
deleted once that request has been fulfilled.

personal information can, at any time, do the following: (1) view, correct, or have deleted the child's
personal information; (2) discontinue further collection and use of the child's personal information
and/or communication with the child; and/or, (3) prevent the disclosure of the child's personal
information to third parties. To do so, please follow the procedures provided in the Access section of

Konami is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public and is only

and alteration of the information under our control (i.e., maintain data quality). Before we allow web
users to access their personal information, for example, we verify their identity by prompting them to
submit information such as their login name and password.
