                     MOTORCOACH INFORMATION
      Parking and traffic regulations can be viewed on the City of San
Francisco's Web site at www.sfgov.org. Under "Explore," "Government" and
"City Resources," click on "Municipal Codes" and then click on "San Francisco
Municipal Codes Index." Click on "San Francisco Police Code" or "San
Francisco Traffic Code." Relevant sections include Police Code, Article 16,
Section 1183 and Traffic Code, Article 3, Sections 28.1 and 60.5. For additional
information, contact the Department of Parking and Traffic (DPT), 1 South Van

LOADING AND UNLOADING AREAS
      The following are officially designated tour bus loading and unloading
areas. In addition, white zones (passenger loading only) are available outside
most hotels and major attractions.

            Alamo Square No parking. Drive-by only.
            Chinatown Bus loading is available on the east side of Columbus
            Avenue just north of Washington Street. Ten-minute time limit.
            Fisherman's Wharf Area Coaches should unload guests at any of
            the areas listed below and then proceed to the parking lot at Pier
            30. In addition to the Pier 39 turn-out (see below), westbound
            buses in Fisherman's Wharf may load and unload passengers in
            two locations on The Embarcadero between Powell and Taylor
            Streets. There are five-minute passenger service areas on both
            the east and west sides of the Franciscan Restaurant (Pier 43 ˝).
            From there, buses have two choices: they can turn left on to
            Taylor Street or continue straight on to Pier 45 and do a U-turn in
            the alley between Grotto #9 and trash compacters. Large buses
            will need to do a small three-point turn. Buses can also leave the
            Fisherman's Wharf area eastbound on The Embarcadero and
            south on Powell Street. The Port of San Francisco plans to
            implement an additional tour bus loading zone in the summer of
            2008; check Web site of the San Francisco Convention & Visitors
            Bureau for updates at www.onlyinsanfrancisco.com.
            Alcatraz Alcatraz Cruises is located at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing)
            on The Embarcadero. Motorcoaches are allowed to off-load and
            pick up passengers at Pier 33. Motorcoach parking is not available
            at the pier but is available at other Fisherman's Wharf locations.
            Anchorage Square and The Cannery at Del Monte Square The
            east side of Leavenworth Street between Beach and Jefferson
            Streets. Ten-minute time limit.
            Bay Cruises The north side of The Embarcadero (Franciscan
            Restaurant) between Powell and Taylor Streets. Five minute time
            limit.
            Ghirardelli Square The south side of Beach Street between Polk
            and Larkin Streets. Ten-minute time limit.
            Pier 39 The loading zone directly in front of Pier 39 can only be
            approached from westbound The Embarcadero. If traveling from
            the west (i.e. Beach Street), turn right at Taylor or Powell Street,
            left at North Point Street, then left at The Embarcadero.
            Golden Gate National Recreation Area See individual entries for
            Alcatraz, Crissy Field, Point Lobos-Cliff House-Sutro Baths, and
            Fort Mason as well as information on frequent use permits
            (below).
            Golden Gate Park/Conservatory of Flowers The north side of
            John F. Kennedy Drive west of the Conservatory. M­Sa only.
            Mission Dolores On the west side of Dolores Street in front of the
            Mission. Twenty-minute time limit.
            St. Mary's Cathedral On the south side of Geary Expressway west
            of Gough Street and on the west side of Gough Street south of
            Geary. Off-limits on Sundays during services. No overnight
            parking.
            Union Square North side of Geary Street between Grant Avenue
            and Stockton Street. Ten-minute time limit available M­F 11am­
            4pm, 6-8pm; Sa­Su 11am­8pm. No stopping in front of Union
            Square Park.

GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL RECREATION AREA (GGNRA) FREQUENT-USE
PERMITS
       GGNRA Frequent Use Permits are necessary for The Presidio of San
Francisco, Muir Woods, the Cliff House, Lands End, the Marin Headlands, Fort
Point National Historic Site, and Forts Baker, Cronkhite, Funston, Mason and
Miley.
       "Frequent use vehicles" are defined as vehicles over 20 feet in length
that visit areas administered by the GGNRA at least three times in any week
or seven times in any month; guidelines subject to change. Frequent use
vehicles will need to display a window permit on all commercial passenger
vehicles entering the GGNRA. Frequent use vehicle operation will be
restricted within the Presidio. Updated insurance will be required. To obtain a
frequent use vehicle permit, contact the GGNRA Business Management
Division at 415-561-4944 between 9am and 4pm Monday through Friday.
PARKING
OVERSIZED PARKING ­ SELF-SERVE
         Pier 30-32, located on The Embarcadero at Bryant Street just south of
the Bay Bridge, offers oversized parking for a $30 fee, valid for 24 hours from
time of purchase. Meters are now available on-site and accept cash, Visa, or
Mastercard and will provide a receipt that must be displayed on the driver's
side of the dash. It is advisable to call in advance to check availability as this
facility is not available on some event days throughout the year. Reservations
are not taken, it is first-come, first-served. Parking Lot "A" at AT&T Park no
longer offers oversized parking inside the lot. For more information, call

OVERSIZED PARKING ­ NON SELF-SERVE
       AT&T Park bus parking is located on the west side of Terry Francois
Blvd. (formerly China Basin St.) opposite Piers 48/50, alongside AT&T Park
Parking Lot A. There are no on-site machines; parking for this lot must be
paid at Impark's office or via phone with a credit card. The rates are $15 for 12
hours or less or $30 for 24 hours on non-event days. The rate for parking that
coincides with any event at AT&T Park is $50. No reservations are offered; it is
first-come, first-served. For more information, call Impark at 415-227-0114,

SHORT TERM PARKING
   AT&T Park Bus parking is located on the west side of Terry Francois
Boulevard (formerly China Basin St.) opposite Piers 48/50, alongside AT&T
Park Parking Lot A. For reservations and information, call Impark at 415-227-
0114, www.impark.com. Also see information under Oversized Parking ­ Non
Self-Serve.

   Chinatown/Financial District Bus parking is located on the north side of
Clay Street between Front and Davis Streets. Two-hour time limit. Not
recommended for passenger loading as the zone is on the left side of the
street.

   Civic Center Area Parking is available on the north side of Fulton Street
between Hyde and Larkin streets adjacent to the Asian Art Museum, near City
Hall, War Memorial Opera House, Davies Symphony Hall and other cultural
attractions. Fifteen-minute time limit.

    Crissy Field Work is ongoing on the West Crissy streetscape, located on
the small strip immediately adjacent to the West Bluff parking area. A
roundabout has been installed that has reduced the negotiable area available.
Additional improvements are underway. Please note that buses are not
allowed west of the intersection of Mason Street and Crissy Field Avenue. The
Crissy Field Overlook is also being improved. The project is slated to continue
through late spring 2008; the overlook is located on Lincoln Avenue,
northbound. See additional information regarding Crissy Field restrictions
below.
   Fisherman's Wharf Area Two-hour tour bus parking is permitted on:
   · the west side of Mason Street south of Beach Street.
   · the east side of Hyde Street between Jefferson and Beach Streets.
   · Additional parking at Pier 30.

   Fort Mason (Upper) Safety improvements are planned for the entry of
upper Fort Mason, located at Bay and Franklin Streets. Construction is
planned for fall, 2008. An alternative entry route will be posted.

   Fort Point Open Friday­Sunday. Parking for three buses available. For
information call 415-556-1693.

   Golden Gate Bridge Area (San Francisco side of the bridge) The paved
parking lot at the south vista area offers minimal coach parking. Additional
parking is available in the gravel lot on the north side of Lincoln Boulevard,
just east of the Vista Point parking lot. There is a paved trail between the
gravel lot and Vista Point.

   Golden Gate Park Lot is behind the Music Concourse bandshell. Fee
charged. Enter from Concourse Drive, north of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.

   Pier 30 Located on The Embarcadero at Bryant Street just south of the Bay
Bridge. (See overnight Parking section above).

   Point Lobos-Cliff House-Sutro Baths Bus passenger parking, drop-off and
viewing are available:
      The Merrie Way parking lot above Sutro Baths, east of the Cliff House, is
      closed to improve parking, trailheads and trails; enhance the visitor
      experience, and restore natural areas. Reopening is anticipated to occur
      in April 2008.
      At the El Camino del Mar parking lot at the north end of El Camino del
      Mar, north of Point Lobos Avenue.

   Treasure Island Viewing area just outside Main Gate.

  Twin Peaks Large lot available at top of hill. There are restrictions
concerning access to Twin Peaks.

MOTORCOACH SERVICING
      The following companies will allow motorcoach access to their servicing

RESTRICTIONS
      Idling The city restricts motorcoach idling to no more than five minutes
unless actively loading and unloading passengers ($100 fine).
      Double Parking and Bus Zones Please load and unload in a designated
space; do not double-park. Tour buses are not allowed to load or unload
passengers in bus zones and are subject to a $250 fine.

RESTRICTED AREAS
       Sixth Avenue Between Kirkham Street and Lincoln Way.
       15th Avenue Between Lake Street and the Presidio, Richmond District.
       18th Street Between Church Street and Upper Market, Castro District.
       25th Avenue Between Lake Street and El Camino del Mar/Presidio.
Coaches should use Geary Boulevard and Park Presidio Boulevard when
traveling from the Cliff House to either the Presidio or the Golden
Gate Bridge.
       26th Avenue Between Geary Boulevard and California Street
       Bay Street Between Van Ness Avenue and Larkin Street.
       Coit Tower Lombard Street east of Grant Avenue and Telegraph Hill
Boulevard.
       Crissy Field The west end of Crissy Field, at the west end of Mason
Street, near the driveway to the former Coast Guard station, has been
designated a Wildlife Protection Area for the Snowy Plover, a threatened
shorebird species protected under the Endangered Species Act. Drivers are
cautioned to unload passengers in authorized areas only and to avoid this
area. The closest authorized bus parking zones are designated as:
       Battery East
       Golden Gate Plaza
       Fort Point (open Friday-Sunday only)
    Please use these authorized bus parking zones and avoid making drop-offs
at
this location.
       Fort Mason Tour bus access to lower Fort Mason is not legally available
at this time. Motorcoach staging, if available, should be coordinated with Fort
Mason Center, 415-441-3400.
       Golden Gate Park On Sundays and holidays, sections are closed to
vehicular traffic, including John F. Kennedy Drive between Kezar Drive and
Transverse Drive. On Saturdays between May and September, John F.
Kennedy Drive is closed between Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive (near the de
Young Museum) and Transverse Drive. For updates visit www.parks.sfgov.org.
       Lincoln Park (Legion of Honor) Access is permitted only from 34th
Avenue and Clement Street. Use the same route to exit.
       Lombard Street The Crookedest Street in the World is restricted
between Larkin and Leavenworth Streets.
       Marina District The area bounded by Franklin Street on the east,
Chestnut Street on the south, Marina Boulevard on the north, and Baker Street
on the west is restricted, including the boundary streets.
       Muir Woods Maximum vehicle length is 35 feet.
       Palace of Fine Arts/Exploratorium From downtown San Francisco, Use
Richardson Avenue (Hwy. 101) northbound and turn right on to Lyon Street.
From southbound Richardson Avenue (U.S. 101), turn right on to Gorgas
Avenue, right on to Marshall Street, right on to Mason Street and right on to
Crook Street, which passes under the freeway to the Palace of Fine Arts
parking lot. Use Lyon S reet to exit to northbound U.S. 101 and the Crook
Street route to exit to the south.
       Presidio The southwest entrances into the Presidio (25th Avenue and
15th Avenue) are closed to motorcoaches.
       Russian Hill An eight-block area around Russian Hill is restricted. Bypass
this area by using Union Street, Pacific Avenue or the Broadway tunnel.
       Sea Cliff This residential area between the Presidio and Lincoln Park is
restricted.
       Telegraph Hill Restaurants on Montgomery Street Motorcoaches should
drop passengers at Union and Montgomery Streets.
       Twin Peaks Roosevelt Way Coaches should use Twin Peaks Boulevard.
