Instructions for removing the TCU R230 SL Class
1. Lift up the carpet on the passenger side floorboard.
2. Remove the plastic screw cap that hides the screw that holds the kick panel.
Remove the screw and then the kick panel.
3. With the kick panel removed, you gained access to the transmission computer.
Depress the tabs on the connectors and remove the wires carefully. With the wires
disconnected, you can then remove the computer. The computer just slides out and is
held in with clips on the chassis.

4. Re-install the transmission computer in reverse order.
