The following questions were submitted for the Question and Answer Session:
Land Transfer
Describe the transfer of lands from Port to City trusteeship.
What is the timetable for transfer?
What dates are scheduled for this process?
Are there relevant publicly available documents that can be reviewed?
Are there clear maps, or at least clear maps for the first phase?
What agency or body must review and approve the transfer of lands from Port to City
trusteeship?
Project Boundaries
What boundaries can be proposed for a ground lease for the project under consideration in the
RFP?
Who would be leasing the property?
Can the developer propose a boundary or arrangement?
RFP Process
List the issues that would be designated for resolution between the Terminal developer and the
Oak to Ninth developer.
Describe the steps that would occur between February 15 and the June 30 City Council
determination.
Will this proposal get reviewed by Landmarks Board and/or Planning Commission, or any other
government bodies?
What are the criteria for developer selection, and how will the process be structured?
Will there be a review and selection committee? Who chooses members? To whom will they
report?
Can the submission date be extended?
Oak to Ninth Project Approvals
Describe the maintenance of the open space, its funding mechanism, and any obligation that
might fall upon the proposing developer.
Are there electronic files available for the approved subdivision?
