                     SITE continues working in Latin America

The good word about SITE is being spread all the way through Latin America. During
June three professional trade shows targeted to the MICE segment took place in
Mexico, Chile and Uruguay. Alejandro Verzoub, member of SITE and two times
Crystal Award winner, participated as a speaker in the three events.
But that's not all, from August the 12th to the 14th will take place in Argentina
Expoeventos, one of the most important trade shows for the MICE segment in the
region. There SITE will be represented not only by Mr. Verzoub but also by Padraic
Gilligan, SITE President, and Fernando Compeán, member of the SITE Board of
Directors. Both will be addressing the audience in Buenos Aires.

Meeting Place Mexico is the best professional business meeting for the conventions
and incentive travel industry in Mexico. This year it was held from June the 1st ­ 3rd
and gave the possibility to 170 buyers form the United States, Canada, Europe and
Mexico of prearranging special appointments with the exhibitors of their interest.
There were more than 100 exhibitors specialized in the corporate events and travel
market.
The fair included the Second Seminar for the Conventions Industry during which
Alejandro Verzoub presented the speech "ABC of Incentive Travel", a mix of
successful experiences held by South American clients, who have use incentive travels
as rewards for their programs.

The second trade show was Business Travel Meeting (BTM) Chile, which took place
from June 12th - 13th in Casa de Piedra in Santiago de Chile.
The fundamental approach of the fair was aimed at the incentive travel and corporate
events segment. 90 exhibitors represented a wide variety of Hotels and Destinations
mostly from Latin America but also from some countries of Europe and the Caribbean.
SITE participated as one of the exhibitors with its own booth where promotional
material on the next International Conference and on the benefits of being a member
were spread out.
Alejandro Verzoub presented a dissertation entitled "God Helps those who
Incentivate" also sponsored by SITE.

The first edition of FIEXPO, took place from June 25th - 26th in the Radisson Plaza
Victoria of Montevideo, Uruguay and shined for its neat organization.
A well-organized hosted buyers system facilitated the participation of foreign clients
who were able to schedule business meetings with the exhibitors. SITE had its own
stand and once again was represented by Alejandro Verzoub and his dissertation
"God Helps those who Incentivate".
With the presence of exhibitors from Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico,
Dominican Republic, Peru and Panama it is possible to confirm that FIEXPO will
consolidate as a reference in the region for professional trade shows.

The last trade show for the MICE segment in the Latin American region will be the fifth
edition of Expoeventos from August the 12th to the 14th in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This year the Exhibition has special emphasis on the educational agenda and SITE
will be sponsoring this exceptional idea of cultivating in order to develop the Latin
American market. Mr. Verzoub has been designated as educational coordinator and
will be delivering a SITE class himself. But the International Conference will also
have the exclusive participation of Padraic Gilligan who will dissertate on
"Maximizing the opportunities and possibilities of Argentina as MICE
destination", and Fernando Compeán who will develop the theme "Ulysses'
Challenges for the Conventions Industry".
This will be accompanied of a SITE booth where the participants will be able to find
information on membership, InSite and the Crystal Awards.
The developing of these professional trade shows is a clear sign of the continuous
growth of the MICE segment on the region.
