The major goal of this initiative is to provide each chapter with access to the expertise of
a COCIT member in their geographic area. As a chapter contact person, you are
encouraged to collaborate with the chapter in any way you and the chapter chairperson
feel would be most effective.
To help make this task as meaningful as possible, you may want to consider the
following suggestions:
· Read and consider contributing to the newsletters of both the COCIT and the
chapter.
· Monitor COCIT's web site.
· Attend the annual meeting of the chapter.
· Be available to respond to requests for input and information from the chapter
executive committee.
· Sign up for the COCIT-CHAP e-mail discussion list by sending an request via e-
mail to bmarshall@aap.org
There are currently 66 chapters in the United States and Canada, and we would like to
have a COCIT contact in each chapter. If you are interested in serving this role, please
contact Beki Marshall at bmarshall@aap.org to sign up.
