         ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR                Appointment on a tem porary or emergency basis for a period of one year for persons who meet most of the minimum requirements for the instructor rank and who show evidence of being able to complete such requirements within one year. A
                                             one- year renewal only of assistant instru ctor appointment may be considered upon request of the college administrator for a person who is actively pursuing completion of the necessary requirements.
